Sageo (Saya Cords for customizing your katana)
Sageo cords are used to secure a katana to an obi (japanese
belt). They come in a variety of colors that will
set you sword apart from the rest.
Tsuba (Sword Guards for customizing your katana/wakizashi or collecting)
Katana are designed to be disassembled. You can get
directions on our
katana disassembly page. The guard (tsuba) can
be replaced to totally change the theme and balance of a
katana (Japanese long sword) or wakizashi (Japanese
short sword).
